Written Android App Review
This is one of my favorite Android app reviews. I will be the first to admit that Sudoku is my guilty pleasure. I can easily spend hours pouring over some crazy hard number set as I painstakingly work my way through to that perfect solution. And now? To have Sudoku on my Android device? I’m honestly not sure that it gets any better! My family may never see me again..
Today were are going to talk about a great new Android app I ran across called Sudoku Free. As the name suggests, this is a free Android app that is dedicated to all things Sudoku. But! It’s also much more than just that. I’ll admit that I am impressed by this Android app and on more than one front. Let’s get started so I can explain what I mean.
The Sudoku Free Android app comes with 500, yep you heard right 500!, free Sudoku puzzles for you to enjoy anywhere and everywhere you would like. Now keep in mind that as a free Android app Sudoku Free is ad supported, but they are unobtrusive and didn’t really bug be during the review process. But if they start to drive you crazy, then there is a paid version that is completely ad free.
What I love on the feature front is how rich Sudoku Free looks and plays. The graphics are fantastic, you are able to choose between two different game themes and you can even change the font!
Also, see that handy little undo button at the bottom left of the screen? That little guy comes in handy!
No functionality issues with Sudoku Free. Not a single one. And for a free Android app, one that looks like this and has as many features and options as this one does, I was honestly surprised to not find any type of glitch or bug in the program. Truly it seems like the developers, Al Factory Limited, have done a great job in putting Sudoku Free together.
I added this category because of a blurb that Al Factory Limited included on the Sudoku Free page in the Android market. They make a point to tell their customers that the permissions listed are only required due to the ads that come along with Sudoku Free. They also point out that the paid version has no ads, and therefore no permissions.
Why does this matter?
Well, when I read that the first thing I did was go straight over and check out the permissions. I read the list…..and it WAS NOT BAD! Really, there were only three and none of them made me even think twice about wanted to load Sudoku Free onto my Android device. Finding a developer that is this level of integrity is rare and, I feel, worth pointing out.
This is definitely an Android app that you should share with any and everyone who you feel might benefit from a little extra Sudoku in their lives. It a great Android app that plays well and comes from a fantastic developer. Honestly, what more could we ask for!?!?
