Karza Football Manager: Written Android App Review
Picture yourself being honored with the responsibility of managing a football team that was once known for its prestigious sports history. Now it is up to you to help this team become a blast from the past and become famous once again with Karza Football Manager from developer Karza Games!
As Karza Football Manger begins to load, the user is prompted with five features on the main menu screen: New Game, Continue (from where the user left off on the previous game), Archive, Options, and Credits. When the user selects a new game, they can choose either from pre-generated data or from a random generation of data. With the pre-generated data, the user can choose from 4 regions on “Karza Island”. These 4 regions are: Penalty Lands, Offside Plains, Ball Shire, and Eleven Hills. Within each 4 regions are additional towns to select from. From there the user can select the towns based on difficulty level and also rename the default name and club names. Each city/town details also give the user an idea of the fan support and the town social scene.
Proceeding onwards, the user is prompted with the basis of the scenario that they will be heading into such as the club history and the fans’ emotional condition. From then on, the user gets to meet players via the roster and change up the playing strategies via “The Team” function. Once the user has selected everything to their desire they can then select to play and see how things work out.
Graphical Layout and Sounds
The overall appearance of Karza Football Manager is simplistic and clean-cut. The actual game action is set as if you were watching the game online as a match, but with no actual physical game play action being shown (more of a word play by play). The play by play goes quickly and so do the goals. The load up duration from each screen to screen can be a bit slow sometimes, but nothing to get anxious over. The background music is creative and entertaining, and even in a way, soothing. There are additional sound features such as the fans cheering, referees’ whistles blowing, and so on.
As for how much detail is put into and featured in this app, the fact that Karza Football Manager is made available for free to Android users is a huge plus. It’s a great app for sports fans, especially aficionados of soccer. It is also appealing to those who’ve always wanted to “manage” a team, and want to apply their individual strategies in what they think will make a team even “better”.
