Woodebox Puzzle Free: Written Android App Review
Looking for a game that is challenging and entertaining? Do you like puzzles, tan grams, or strategy based games? Want something that is mind teasing and visually appealing? Then look no further for the Woodebox Puzzle app is just the perfect game for you, from developer AndroidAZ!
The basic premise of Woodebox Puzzle is to take the puzzle pieces that are shown and somehow strategically fit them into a “hole” or dark shaded area in a specific portion of the box. The trick is, you will need to somehow move certain pieces first so that the balance pieces can move and fit into the remaining slots. Each additional level becomes progressively more difficult to solve, and the position of the pieces become trickier to maneuver. There are 72 levels total for you to figure out and complete.
Once the app initially loads, you are prompted with the main menu that offers you with the following three functions: “Play”, “Levels”, and “Exit”. Once you select play, beginners will be shown a tutorial and a walkthrough on how to complete the first level. After that, the player can immediately pick and proceed in playing the game without any hiccups, besides being able to solve the puzzle itself. The “Levels” function will show which levels you have completed and are currently on. However, the only downside is if you are stuck a certain level/puzzle, you won’t be allowed to select a different puzzle to conquer if the one you were just on has not been correctly solve yet.
Woodebox Puzzle is very visually appealing and colorful. The graphics are bright and easy on the eyes and would be favorable with all age groups. It does have a couple of ads that run along the borders, but they are not noticeable or big enough to pose as a real distraction during actual game play since the puzzle pieces themselves are very bold. However, if the ads do really bother you, there is an ad-free version that is available for purchase (hence, why this one is the “free” version).
For this app being a free version, primarily because of the running ads, this app is a pretty decent deal. It is fun and entertaining, logically challenging, and is a great app to fiddle around with in your spare time. So the next time you find yourself twiddling your thumbs, or if on the contrary, need a break from your fast paced life, give Woodebox Puzzle a try. You might find it very difficult to put your device back down.
