This very lightweight tool helps you organize list items with ease and allows users to have a great deal of control over their list.
Concept and Functionality
Super Simple Shopping List looks awfully lightweight when you first open the app, but thankfully it’s much more than what it seems at first. To begin using it, all you have to do is tap the + at the top of the screen and add your first item.
To add multiple items, simply separate them by commas. Also, you can give the item(s) a colored label in order to help you organize your list. Once this is done, your item will show up on your list. It really is as simple as that.
One thing I want to mention about Super Simple Shopping List is the fact that it is much more than just a grocery list app.
The fact that there are no predefined labels or categories means you can use the app for any kind of list purpose.
To cross off items while shopping, all you have to do is tap the item on the list and Super Simple Shopping List strikes the item out. When you finish shopping, you can use the options button at the top of the app to either delete items you’ve already picked up or clear your entire list.
Personally I believe Super Simple Shopping List is a fantastic shopping list app that’s perfect for lightweight users who are just looking for a way to add items to list quickly and easily.
Even the most die-hard shopping list maker would be impressed with the flexibility of this app.
As you can imagine, Super Simple Shopping List is exactly what the name states – simple. There are no magical bells and whistles or outstanding features, which is what really makes the app great. As I mentioned before, users have a ton of options as far as being able to customize the list making experience.
One thing I’d like to see added to Super Simple Shopping List is the ability to easily save multiple label templates. This would allow users to create labels for different purposes, such as shopping at the grocery store or creating to do lists. This is merely a suggestion, though, as the app is darn near perfect just the way it is.
Also, I was slightly disappointed to see that there’s no easy way to save, share or export your list. This makes it difficult to share your list with others if they have to do grocery shopping for you. It would be great to see a future release that added syncing between two or more devices.
Super Simple Shopping List is free to download from Google Play, which is always a price that can’t be beat.
More importantly, the app delivers on everything it promises, which is a very simple shopping list creation experience. It’s worth mentioning that there is a tiny add bar at the bottom of the screen, but it doesn’t interfere with the user experience at all.
Overall, Super Simple Shopping List is a fantastic list app that will make grocery shopping a breeze. Added label flexibility means you can use the app for much more than just grocery shopping.
