We cover a lot of games here at the Android Apps Review, but we also try quite hard to bring you the best applications from other parts of the Google Play Store.
SendForth is a great little utility, enabling users to quickly, and efficiently forward an SMS via email or SMS so it’s a snap to get it to any another device. It’s very simple to setup, and with a free 20 credits to get you started, there’s no initial cost to try it out.
If all of that sounds good, checkout our full review below! Starting with:
Concept and Functionality
As stated, SendForth represents one of the quickest and easiest ways we’ve ever seen to send your text messages to email without any hassle. How does it work? Well, rather easily, to be honest.
First, setup the application by telling it where you’d like your messages delivered. Obviously this will need to be a phone number if you’re sending an SMS message to another phone, or an email address. Once added, you can then setup further parameters, like keywords searches.
This enables the app to search your messages for target words. When it finds what it’s looking for—like the word “review,” as an example—it sends that specific message to the specified email or SMS recipient.
If you are using keyword search, you’ll be impressed by how stringently SendForth screens your calls. It has yet to send an incorrect text out with our trial, which is fairly impressive.
Of course, if you don’t want to use the keyword option, it will simply huck out all of your texts to the forwarding email address.
You can also tell the application to send all texts from a specific number to another agent. But no matter how you set it all up, you just can’t go wrong with SendForth.
It effortlessly does its job, and runs quietly in the background without any fuss. Plan and simple, it just works.
Another aspect of this app that makes even more valuable is that it will easily let you know about any missed calls and notifications. They’re just as easily forwarded as SMS messages.
Design and Interface
There’s not a lot to be said for SendForth’s interface, though in this case, that’s actually a good thing. It’s a cinch to setup, requiring only about 30 seconds of your time.
Slide the navigation menu outward from the left, fill-in the relevant tabs within the settings pane, and that’s it—you’re done!
If you need more information, the dashboard will let you know exactly how many times SendForth has resent one of your messages. It will also show you how many credits you have left on your account. Need to add more? That too is easily accessed!
All in all, it just couldn’t be easier to get around what SendForth has to offer.
And just in case you need a bit of guidance, information icons are scattered around the app. If you tap them you get more detailed information on the associated aspect of the app.
Lastly, SendForth is rocking a pretty slick value, considering it costs nothing to try out.
Even if you want to purchase further credits, you won’t be spending more than say five dollars a month. In this way, SendForth represents a phenomenal value. Plus, credits are only consumed when forwarding to email. Forwarding to SMS is completely free.
This kind of utility is hard to come by, and the fact that SendForth performs its duties as well as it does is quite a boon. If you’re in the market for just such an option on the Android device, then look no further.
SendForth has everything you’d want from a forwarding application—and then some!
SendForth requires Android version 4.1+. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this news item.
