One of the most important aspects of daily life is managing money. All too often, keeping track of your finances is a task that’s put off until something bad happens or you discover that you’ve run out of cash.
My Money Tracker is an effective way to get your finances under control.
It’s a free finance app for Android that provides users with a quick and easy way to not only keep track of expenses, but also manage individual budgets and track account balances.
Developed by NikoApp, this feature-rich finance tool will help anyone and everyone stay on top of their money.
Concept and Functionality
Over the years I’ve learned that when it comes to finance apps (specifically expense trackers), pretty much everything hinges on usability. If an app is too clunky or complicated, users are more likely to become even more unmotivated to track their money.
One of the first things I noticed about My Money Tracker is that everything is incredibly accessible and, even though the app is loaded with features, it’s not intimidating at all to use.
My Money Tracker offers new users an excellent QuickStart guide, as well as a brief video that overviews how to use the app effectively. Even if you don’t check out the tutorials, you most likely won’t have any issues with setting up the app.
There are four different menus located at the top of the screen: Balance, Budgets, Transactions, and Settings.
As you can probably imagine, My Money Tracker offers an unprecedented number of ways to stay on top of your finances.
You can be as detailed or as vague as you want, but I definitely recommend taking advantage of all of the different tracking options, as it makes the app much more efficient.
From being able to quickly add transactions to managing multiple budgets with a few taps of your finger, My Money Tracker includes everything you need.
One of my favorite features is the ability to add different account balances such as bank and credit cards and choosing which account and expense was withdrawn from.
No personal information is required; the app only requires a current balance amount. The really neat thing about this is as you track expenses, My Money Tracker automatically updates balances.
My Money Tracker includes many more features, such as password protection, Dropbox integration, international currency and language support, widgets, and custom alerts.
Most impressive is the extensive number of settings that users can browse and customize, creating a truly unique finance managing experience.
My Money Tracker is available to download from Google Play for free and is supported with unintrusive ads. There are no in-app purchases to worry about, so what you see is what you get.
As far as finance trackers go, My Money Tracker is definitely one of the best I’ve seen.
If you’re looking for a comprehensive way to track expenses, manage budgets, and improve your money habits, My Money Tracker is the way to go.
My Money Tracker requires Android 4.0+. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
