Endless running games are usually a blast to play, mainly because you’re always trying to beat your best score.
Path of the Ninja is a fun and addicting game that requires players to hack and slash their way to glory.
This is one title you don’t want to miss if you like high-pressure games.
Concept and Gameplay
Path of the Ninja, by Stealforge, is a bit more than your typical endless running game for Android.
While most games in this category focus on killing time while achieving the highest score, this game takes it a bit further by allowing players to level up their character, enhance their weapons, and much more.
I’m a huge fan of tutorials, so naturally I was happy to see that Path of the Ninja includes a comprehensive tutorial to help new players acclimate to the game environment.
While the tutorial itself is pretty easy to navigate, the only thing that is annoying about that game is the fact that the chosen font a bit of an overkill. At times I found myself straining to read hints and other bits of text.
When it comes to the overall gameplay experience, though, Path of the Ninja is very easy to understand and control.
It features your typical “tap to attack” controls, as well as swiping gestures such as swiping to the right in order to throw a weapon or swiping upwards to jump over obstacles. You can even tap and hold your weapon button and release at the right time for critical hits.
As I mentioned before, Path of the Ninja has quite a few extras that players will definitely enjoy. This includes being able to level up your character, the ability to purchase new weapons and equipment using coins and shards, and much more.
Not only does this make the game more challenging, but it encourages players to keep coming back for more so they can improve their score and their character.
Another great feature of Path of the Ninja is integration with Google Play Games. This is definitely something I wish more games had, mainly because I enjoy earning achievements or playing games.
Players will be happy to know that they can do just that with this game, as well as complete quests for rewards.
Path of the Ninja is available to download from Google Play for free. While ads don’t show up on the screen during regular gameplay, players do have the option to watch an ad in return for shards or reviving their corpse. Players can also purchase coins via an-app purchase, which are also used to revive the character.
Overall, Path of the Ninja is a very fun endless running game for Android that will definitely keep players coming back for more.
Aside from font that’s slightly difficult to read, I found the game to be incredibly enjoyable to play and I think other players will feel the same.
Path of the Ninja requires Android 3.0+. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
