As a fair warning, this is not the first time that we’ve ever reviewed LEO Privacy Guard. So why, you might ask, are we going after it again? Simply put, the app has managed to go back to the woodshed, hone its strengths and repair some weaknesses.
Simply put, LEO Privacy Guard’s V3.0 app is a triumphant upgrade with even more to offer than before.
We didn’t think the app, from Leomaster, could improve beyond its previous iterations, but dang it if they haven’t done exactly that.
To date, LEO Privacy Guard represents one of our favorite applications on the Android platform, out of any genre.
It has an incredible ability to improve your day-to-day life, and it does it with so much grace we sometimes wonder if it’s about to launch a modeling career.

Concept and Functionality
As you might have guessed, LEO Privacy Guard is focused on delivering the best possible security package for your Android device. How does it do this? Primarily, it is through a series of locking mechanisms that keep your data, pos and media out of the hands of evil.
This takes the form of several unique features: Firstly, you can give the app (or your device itself) a locking pattern and security code.
This is handy for the really sensitive stuff, and extends to the apps you’d like to lock as well. Want to make sure your messages stay hidden? Just lock it within LEO Privacy Guard and the app takes care of the rest.
Similarly, you can save and secure your media without hassle. Boot up the app, lock the items you wish, and its done. Quick and easy! Who said security had to be a long, drawn out affair?
But the app is back with even more useful functionality.
Thanks to the 3.0 update, you can now track your phone’s location should it be stolen. There’s also a new one-click privacy investigator that checks all of your data for weak points.
Throw in WiFi security checks as well as a camera-fire on failure to enter your passcode, and LEO Privacy Guard is easily the most robust Android security app we can name.
Design and Interface
Previously, we talked about how much we loved the LEO Privacy Guard design. It was sleek, sensible and incredibly easy to navigate. However—and we can’t believe we’re saying this— the new design is even better.
The animation are gorgeous, the functionality easier to use thanks to the privacy check, and the whole experience is tighter around the edges.
It is downright inspiring to see an already brilliant app taking itself to task. Because these results speak for themselves: And we cannot speak highly enough of the redo fashioned here.
Better still, LEO Privacy Guard is completely free in the Google Play Store. Because of that free price tag, there is no reason on this earth not to grab it.
It will protect you, aide you in the event of a theft, and generally keep your phone happier and healthier.
At no cost to you, how can any of that not be an immediate, “Heck yeah!”
LEO Privacy Guard earns our heavy recommendation, as well as our ardent respect.
LEO Privacy Guard requires Android version 4.0+. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
