File Expert with Clouds is a remarkably easy to use and capable file manager for Android devices.
Developed by GMobile, File Expert with Clouds easily allows its users to manage their Android devices and cloud storage from a single app.
This utility is unique from the other File Managers in the Google Play Store because it allows users to easily print files and images directly from their devices.
File Expert with Clouds has many fantastic features, with their wireless printing feature being an outstanding part of the app. This wireless printing feature lets users print pictures, TXTs, PDFs, and HTMLs quickly after installing a related printing service (e.g. Google Cloud Print).
GMobile has integrated their smart file manager with the Cloud. This lets users easily use their device to access their Google Drive, Dropbox, Skydrive, or any of the 8 Cloud storage services they support. Plus, if you’re a Dropbox user you get the added benefit of auto-sync.
It also includes a Root Explorer feature for those users who have rooted devices, as well as a Compress/Decompress feature that lets users .zip/unzip folders quickly. In addition, users have access to a variety of ways to transfer files, ranging from supporting bluetooth, WiFi, Samba Client, FTP, SFTP and FTPS servers.
One of the key features in File Expert with Clouds that we particularly loved was the Large File Analysis that scans your entire device and shows a sorted list of files and folders that are taking up your free space.
Overall, we found File Expert with Clouds to be a step ahead of several other File Managers, and greatly enjoyed using its wireless printing feature.
Appearance and Layout
File Expert with Clouds gives off friendly vibes with a smooth, polished user interface and format that works great for the average Android user.
The layout is easy to use for typical users, and those who want to drill down into the Advanced Settings also have an easy time navigating through the various advanced options.
This Android file manager is an excellent addition to any Android device because it is a perfect mix of easy use for simple file management and more advanced functionality for users who want to go a step further.
File Expert with Clouds is free to download (5.6 MB). There are numerous in-app-purchases ranging from $2.99 (Professional Version that removes ads and lets users print as many times as they want to) to $19.99 (Flagship Version that gives 5 TB of memory space in the GCloud).
For the free use of its analyzer and its 15 free prints, we think that File Expert with Clouds is definitely worth a download (and is worth the $2.99 for those who print often from their device). Check it out and let us know what you think.
File Expert with Clouds requires Android 4.1 and up. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
