File Expert with Clouds is a top notch file management Android app that professionally keeps your files organized on both your Android device and on the cloud.
Developed by GMobile (formerly GeekSoft), File Expert with Clouds is perfect for users who are tired of endlessly losing files and downloads somewhere in their device.
GMobile has fine-tuned and perfected File Expert with Clouds in the new V8 version of their already powerful and easy-to-use file manager.
File Expert with Clouds is full of well-designed features and tools that are easy to use and makes finding, sorting, and filtering files a breeze.
Multiple tabs can be used to further increase productivity and multi-tasking in the app, a feature that many other file managers don’t include. Plus, simply swiping right opens up further navigation options with its slideout navigation menu.
File Expert with Clouds also boasts of increased transfer speeds to hasten loading, scrolling and operating files and states that it takes “70 seconds to copy a 1G video and the max speed is 14 MB/s.” A unique feature it contains is its Super Downloader that is supposed to accelerate download speeds (although they seemed about the speed same for us).
File Expert with Clouds does all of the basic things that you’d expect a file manager app to do (e.g. cut, paste, text editor, tag files, recently opened, app manager, recycle bin, copy, delete, file shred, batch operations, etc.) as well as the ability to manage local AND cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive) at the same time.
Plus, File Shred is a neat feature that essentially permanently deletes files from the device, rendering them unrecoverable.
File Expert with Clouds comes with the ability to wirelessly print via a simple tap on the phone, and even has a built-in Root Explorer, FTP client, and SMB (Server Message Block).
Users can manage files remotely via FTP or connect to their computer or laptop using SMB.
A more complex feature than the others, it can certainly come in handy to users who are constantly on the go but need access to their workstation back home or in their office.
One of the features we loved about File Expert with Clouds is its built-in PDF Converter that lets you convert Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files in PDF files, which you can use for 30 days free. After that, its $6.99/month.
Overall, we found File Expert with Clouds to be one of the best file managing apps on the market, with its amount of features being second to none (although it isn’t entirely free).
Appearance and Layout
File Expert with Clouds uses Google’s newest visual language to enhance the overall appearance with its use of grid-based layouts, responsive animations and transition and depth effects such as lighting and shadows. Various themes can be used (light, dark, etc.) to further enhance the appearance of the app.
The layout of File Expert with Clouds is impressive and easy to use. Simple swipe movements can be used to navigate through your phone, and it makes managing your files to be fun.
Overall, we thought that File Expert with Clouds visually looks stunning and its layout is relatively simple to use.
File Expert with Clouds is free with in-app purchases that range from $0.99 to $190.00. To get the full version of File Expert with Clouds that includes the wireless printing and PDF converter, it costs $6.99/month or $69.90/year. There are several in-app banner ads that appear, which can be gotten rid of for $9.99/year.
If you are looking for a well-equipped file managing app, File Expert with Clouds is so full of features that it’d be hard to pass up.
