These days, you’re not just texting, you’re constantly using your phone to make and take both audio and video calls with friends, family, or business associates.
CV-Record is perfect for those times when you want to record an audio or video conversation.
When you first open the app, you can create a record account via your Drop Box account or your Google Drive account.
There are several settings you can fiddle around with to make the recording process fit your recording needs. You can turn on automatic recording for both audio and/or video calls.
You can also choose your designated recording placement, and view your holding records. Set your record settings such as source, format, and record delay for both audio and video calls.
Place record filters like incoming record size, default modes, specific and ignored contacts for recording. Select or change your default language when viewing the app.
Modify how you would like to record your calls and be prompted every time a call is made, or automatically record calls, or don’t save at all. You can also decide how you want to share your call records (via email, messaging, social networking, etc.).
Please note that users of this app should always check with their state laws to see if the recording of phone calls is allowed or not.
Appearance and Layout
The CV-Record app has a really simple, easy to use layout. Open up the app and you will be presented with 5 different menu options, all with very self explanatory headers. Navigation and option selection is very straightforward.
This is a “Lite” version of the app. You are only allotted a 15 second recording time frame. There are also advertisements displayed on the bottom portion of the screen, but they aren’t too distracting.
If you want to be free of ads and have longer recording time, then you can upgrade to the “Pro” version for $2.99.
Otherwise, for basic call recording the “Lite” version of the app may be sufficient depending on what you are using the recording for.
CV-Record requires Android 4.1 and up.
