Written Android App Review
Ah, a new Android app for organizing things to do lists. I have always wanted to be a list maker. No, scratch that. I am a list maker….I’m just not that great on the whole “follow through” thing. But there are days when I know that without a good list to go by, I’m doomed for failure. Such as the day before vacation when it suddenly becomes my job to get five people, three dogs and one house all squared away for the week to come. The only problem with a well made list is that it has a tendency to disappear. All that time spent organizing my day and its gone in the blink of an eye. So you can see why I was so excited to learn about Checkmark ToDo List. The Android app can make lists of your lists and makes my organizational skills look like they were written in crayon! Sounds like a good thing, but lets go see if it can live up to all the hype.

Features
When it comes to features, this Android app review explored them all and found that this Android app is the mack daddy of all organizational Android apps. The just isn’t anything that this Android app can’t do. For starters, you can make your list. (Kind of the whole point right?) But that is just the beginning. From there you sync with your calender, import action items, set up customizable repeat setting for individual tasks, backup your list, share it via email and even set alarms to remind you of important moments throughout your day. Honestly it makes my head spin a bit to think about being THAT organized! Basically with this app, you can get as simple or as complex as you want. Nice!
Functionality
Functionality is the big “So What?” As in, that’s great that Checkmark ToDo List can do all that, but….does it actually work? The answer, yes it does! What is even more intriguing about this app is it gives you the ability to sync your ToDo lists with your daily calender. Simply download the companion calender app and the two programs are able to function as one single unit. That’s pretty spiffy if I do say do myself!
Value
For this app I feel that “value” is a relative concept. Let me explain. For someone like my dear husband who thinks that planning is punishment, he wouldn’t be willing to use this app if someone were willing to pay him to do it! So there is no way you could convince him that $4.99 was any kind of a smoking deal. Then, I know many other individuals who live and die by their To Do lists. The question is, where do you fall? If you are a die hard list maker who drools at the thought of having an ever-customizable list always ready and waiting at your fingertips, then this is the app for you. On the other hand, if you are just a dabbler? Then I would probably wait for a free version to pop up.
