Written Android App Review
Stellar Escape, a thrilling Android app from Orange Agenda, is a low-priced single player arcade side scrolling game that is speedy and very entertaining. The Updated Version allows for the support of the Xperia Play accessory for in game control. However, menus are still only navigable via the touch screen.
Gameplay
Stellar Escape is a very fun and fast paced when combined with the Xperia Play accessory. Without that accessory Stellar Escape is a little more difficult to control due to the touch screen button layout. The game play is not a huge divergence from other side scrollers, the object is to make it from one side of the level to the other. What Stellar Escape does incredibly well is it takes a game that is better caliber than some handheld consoles and puts it on the users phone.
Stellar escape requires quick reaction timing to and good hand eye coordination to navigate through the various sectors of the space station you are fleeing on, by jumping over floor obstacles, sliding under closing doors, or climbing hand over hand to get across a dangerous section of flooring. The price of failure? Electrocution after three errors. The levels are designed so that the game play does not become repetitive and actually is incredibly addicting.

The Stellar Escape Android app is a very colorful and sharply designed game. The levels the player is running through have different backgrounds and color schemes to them, and that keep the eye entertained and focused on the character. The lighting is well done, it is not highly advanced with shadows but it is a bright game and allows for a pseudo 3d perspective, pretty nicely done overall.
Sounds
Stellar Escape has great sound effects and music; the music is fast paced and energetic. The sound effects are appropriate with the characters actions, a skidding sound when the character slides under obstacles and a landing sound when the character leaps or lands, etc. There is an electric shocking sound when the character makes contact with an obstacle as they are electrocuted (ouch!).
Value
Stellar Escape is worth every penny, fifteen levels with multiple environments allow for an enjoyable experience and very big replay potential. The fact that the developer has added support for the Xperia Play accessory is a huge plus as well and adds a more comfortable feel to the controls.
