Gameplay
In performing the Android apps review I found this to be a solid game. Choose from Play, High Scores and More (other games from Droid Hen) when you first startup Donkey Jump. There is not much of an intro or tutorial to Donkey Jump, but one really isn’t required. The main gameplay consist of using the motion sensitive controller to move your flying donkey from side to side, trying to score power ups, bonuses, and avoid obstacles. Eventually, your donkey will start to run out of flying steam and you’ll need to carefully land him on clouds, from which he can continue to jump higher and higher. Be careful, as one wrong move could send your flying donkey on a nosedive to the farm floor, ending your jump and stopping the score count.
Even on older devices, Donkey Jump still runs super well! It’s a very polished app with responsive controls and a simple, yet fun game play mechanic.
Graphical Layout and Sounds
Just like other Droid Hen Android app games, Donkey Jump is super polished, both in its game play and also in its graphics. I love the art style used in Donkey Jump as it really looks great and fits the game perfectly. The ‘superman’ donkey is absolutely hilarious, as are the other power ups that the donkey can attain throughout the game. Layout is pretty easy to navigate and first timer users shouldn’t have a problem picking up Donkey Jump and launching off with ease! There are ads scattered throughout the game, including some that are somewhat obnoxiously placed, but overall they don’t interfere with the game play too much.
The audio quality and game play music in Donkey Jump is great. Once again, Droid Hen has a winner on its hands with Donkey Jump!

I’ve been consistently impressed with the high quality of Android apps that are available for free and Donkey Jump is no exception. Multiple achievements, hilarious (and cute!) graphics, large screen tablet support and a nice soundtrack all add up to make Donkey Jump a solid title on the Android. You would be missing out not at least try out this fun, free jumping game app for the Android.
