Written Android App Review

This, my friends, is where Music Wizard Android app comes into play. Music Wizard is a new Android app that puts an entire world of music right at your fingertips. Have a new favorite artist? Just search it. Like what you hear? Just download it. Either way you have the music you want, when you want it…….so what’s the catch?

After performing the Android apps review, I became very comfortable with how the Android app works. Once you load Music Wizard onto your Android device, you have to search for the music you want. For example, let’s say you were looking for Lady Gaga. You type it in the box, then sit back and watch as result after result pops up on your screen. The next step is to find the song of your dreams and give it a click. A new window opens, giving the user the option to either listen to or download the song. Make your choice and you have your music.
The set up is great and the music is free. The only problem is the app has a tendency to freeze as often as not. When it works, it works great, it just doesn’t work all the time and that’s a bit of a problem. Quick tip, if you make it past the search screen then chances are good that you are home free. During the review, if the app was going to freeze then it would do so during the search.
Design
On the design front, Music Wizard takes a simple straightforward approach that any user can appreciate. When you open the app you have two choices. Either search for new music or open up the music already on your device. That’s it, and that’s a good thing. There is a tendency for music apps to try and squeeze too many options into too small of a space. The end result is an app that is cluttered and difficult to use. By keeping things simple on the design front Music Wizard actually improves the overall experience for the user.
If there is a draw back to the design of this Android app it comes from having too many ads. Every single page has ads and they get to be overwhelming after a bit. Cut back on the ads…enhance the experience.
Value
In terms of value, Music Wizard is more than up for the challenge. Why? Because not only is it a free app, but all of the music that you download is free as well. Giving users literally endless options at no charge and making it the perfect app for the music junkie in your life. So what are you waiting for?
