Written Android App Review
Let me just say it right off the bat, the GroupMe Android app is fantastic and my Android app review was a delight to perform. GroupMe is an Android app that everyone should have on their phone and one that you will find new ways to use each and every day. I truly cannot find a downside to this Android app, and I can’t wait to share why I am this excited!

Here’s how it works. Start by installing the GroupMe Android App onto your device. Now you have the ability to go through your contacts and create unique “groups” of people. It can be family members, or a club that you’re involved in or even people that you are taking a trip with. Doesn’t matter, you just select the people you want and create the group.
Once a group is created it is given its own unique phone number. From now on, any messages that are sent, are sent out to the group as a whole! Want to share a pic? No problem. It goes out to the whole group. Lost in Disney and want to find your family? There’s a map for that. Plus, if any person attached to the group calls the group phone number, a conference call is opened up just like that. No fuss, no hassle, just easy and oh so useful!

I added this category because this is an Android app that you need to share with everyone on your contact list. It’s one of those that will come in handy no matter who you are and one that can be used by anyone. Even those with the old school flip phones can get in on the fun. If your phone can send and receive texts, then you can be added into a group. Plus, with no limits as to how many groups you can have, the possibilities are endless. Maybe you create a short term group for planning a party, or a long term circle with friends and family. Maybe you create a group to use just for a single day. The reality is that it doesn’t matter how long you use it because the service is free and you can change it up as YOU see fit!

GroupMe is a free Android app with endless potential. The downside? Haven’t found one yet. So in terms of value, there really isn’t much more that you could ask for. For me this was a review I started blind. I knew nothing about this Android app and had no preconceived notions. It won me over in minutes. So give it a try. In this case you have nothing to lose and might just find something you didn’t know you couldn’t live without!
