The Notification Bubbles Android app works something like this. First, you choose which type of notifications you would like to receive, such as Gmail, Facebook, Twitter or SMS text. Then, choose the number of empty bubble you want at any given time as well as your preferred color. (I like random!)
Now go back to your home screen….and wait! It shouldn’t take long! Fun little bubbles will begin to float up your screen. Some empty that you can pop just for the fun of it, and others filled with your notification bubbles. Someone send you a pic? It’s in the bubble! Pop the bubble, get taken straight to the message on your Android device. Fun!
Functionality
In terms of functionality, this Android app worked great for me. There is one thing to note however. If you want to use the Notification Bubbles Android app, then you have to go through your wallpaper menu. This is not an Android app that just shows up in the regular menu screen. Since it is a function of the device, you have to go to the right place to get things started.
The only downside that I found during the review was that Notification Bubbles did seem to drain the battery a bit. This is not a huge deal for me as my phone is plugged in most of the time either in the car or office, but it might pose a bit of a problem for those who need all the battery they can get to make it through their day.

Notification Bubbles Android app is free! So the value here is no question. The only question is the fun factor. The novelty of it all. If this is something fun that you would enjoy poking around with throughout your day…then go for it! The app is a blast and one that I plan on keeping around for awhile. If your battery power is precious, then it may not be the best choice. Either way, its a fun choice and there is no risk, so give it a shot. After all, what have you got to lose?
