Written Android App Review
These days home buying is quite the hot topic around my house. See, we are in the market and that means that everyone has an opinion. I want the square footage, my husband wants the acreage and the kids just want all the fun goodies they can talk us into. I can promise you that it is a stressful process and one that I am more than ready to have behind me! But now, with the Trulia Android App things just got a little bit easier.
Trulia
Trulia is designed to be a one stop Android app to help you house hunt on the go. It works off the GPS signal in your Android device, meaning that you can always look for the area you are in even if you’re not really sure where that is. Plus, it’s packed with features! So today we are going to spend a few minutes learning a bit more about this new real estate Android app and if it really can help you (or me!) find the house of your dreams.
Features
The Android app review unveiled that one of the best things about this Android app is that it is completely feature packed! In one central location you have the ability to search for property, refine your search, save all your favorites, look for open houses and even add those events straight to your calender. Also, I really like how the Trulia Android App is set up for voice search. Meaning that if you are on the go, then you are still able to run a search without trying to type and drive.
Also, another nice feature of Truila is that you are able to search rental properties. Not everyone is in the market to buy and it is great to see and Android app respond to this fact.
The only downside I found on the feature front was that I was unable to search by acreage. Now, this might not matter to some, but it is important in our search and it was not possible on Trulia. If they could add this feature then they would earn a full five stars on the feature front.

Functionality
An Android app with the scope of Trulia always makes me nervous on the functionality front. Large Android apps are bulky and tend to freeze up, making me hesitant to try new ones. I was afraid that Trulia would fall into this category, but was pleasantly surprised that it did not.
The Trulia Android app was responsive and worked well…not perfectly…but well. It did force close a time or two, but seemed to run smoothly most of the time. All in all, I was more than pleased with the functionality of this Android app.
Share Worthiness
So, is Trulia one of those Android apps that you are going to share with your friends? Maybe. If you, or someone you know, is in the market for a new place to call your own, then this Android app would be a good choice. It works well and offers a large number of highly useful features when it comes to a home search. But, for me, its not one of those app that I just can’t live without. Much like its functionality, it’s good….just not great.
