Features
Callback Assistant requires no special setup or permission setting. Simply install and use! The next time you finish a call, Callback Assistant will ask if you want to set up a reminder to call them back, send a text message or schedule a task or reminder.
The only caveat? You only have five seconds to make your choice and there is no way to change the time out. For this, Callback Assistant loses one golden star.

There is a lot packed into the Android app after call screen. Did you accidentally hang up? Did your phone drop the connection? Did you hang up only to immediately remember something you forgot? Don’t worry, there’s a handy redial button just below the user’s picture.
Another nice feature is the ability to launch your texting application as soon as the call is over. Did you promise Aunt Bertha you’d send her the web address to her favorite store? Or perhaps you need to send over a phone number or other pertinent information. Callback Assistant makes the process literally as simple as pushing a button.
The callback feature has default settings of 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour, or you can set a custom callback date and time. It simply adds an event to your synced Google calendar and pops up at the appropriate time to remind you. The phone number is in the event so all you have to do is click the number and it dials it for you! it couldn’t be easier!
Design
The callback screen (Callback Assistant’s only screen) is set up surprisingly well. The redial and close buttons are at the top in decently large buttons. Along the right hand side beneath these buttons are the options to select a callback time (which is open by default), send an SMS or create a task/reminder. Once you get used to using this app, the screen becomes familiar enough to navigate it within the five second window. However, I still maintain that it would be nice to have a little longer to decide. For a clean layout, I award five golden stars.
Value
I’m not sure a value can be placed on saving face and making yourself look good. Your family, friends, colleagues and clients will wonder how you never forget a phone call. They’ll say things like, “That John… he’s just so organized! How does he always call back exactly when he said he would?” And thanks to this wonderful and FREE app, you will just sit back and chuckle quietly to yourself. Callback Assistant gets five stars for value.
