Written Android App Review
Do you like Tiny Wings? Do you want more? My Android app review found a similar Android app to know and love on your Android device. Flying Penguin is here and it is ready and waiting to fly its way into your hearts and onto your Android!
The concept isn’t new here, but the game is fun and its one of those “new spins on an old favorite” that we have all come to love. So the real question is….are you ready for some cool summer fun? Then let’s get flying!

Flying Penguin
Here’s how it works! Your job is to help your new little penguin buddy as he slips, slides and flies his way through a frozen and fish filled world. His wings may be small, but his heart is mighty and he just needs a little help from someone like you to find his way through to the other side.
Make it through fast enough and you get to move on to the next level. Move too slowly and you get eaten by a bear. Yup….flat out eaten with a few feathers flying for good measure! (Got to admit…I love the bear! My daughter cracked up every time she saw him and got to where she would lose on purpose just so she could see her fluffy furry friend!)
One of the best things about this game is the fact that it comes packed with 3 different worlds and a nice variety of racing levels. This stands out because so many times you find a game that you like only to have it come to an end 5 levels in. With Flying Penguin that worry is a thing of the past. Just load it onto your Android and let the fun begin.
Functionality
After one quick bump at the beginning, functionality was consistently high throughout the review process. I say one quick bump because Flying Penguin did force close one time immediately after being installed. That was enough to make me a bit nervous, but, since it seems to have been a one time isolated incident, I almost immediately forgot that it even happened in the first place.
Other than that, the Android app worked great. It is always nice to come across and Android app that works well. Nothing is more frustrating that trying to work with an app that consistently throws out a force close or some other type of equally annoying issue every time you open it up.
Fun Factor
This is a fun game! It’s catchy and addicting in a way that lets you forget about the day for a few minutes at a time. Is it one that I can’t put down? No. But its still fun! It’s one that brings a smile to my face and almost always gets a laugh or two.
The downside here is that it is also hard. It took me several tries to get the hang of Flying Penguin and I’m not sure that it would be a great game for kids. If the controls were a bit easier, then I think that it would improve the game all the way around.
Overall the Flying Penguin Android app is one that I would recommended to anyone looking for a new way to kill a few minutes of their day. It’s a nice game that plays well and it always leaves me feeling happy.
