Written Android App Review
I love a good road trip. I kind of have to given the number of them that I have embarked on over the years. But I never realized all that I was missing until I started digging around in my Android device. It’s like all the common road tripping problems that plagued our quests year after year have been answered and disposed of through the use of one handy little device that can fit in my pocket!
Today we are going to talk about Love’s Android app, and more specifically the Love’s Connect Android app. This is a great little Android app that is the answer to your road tripping dreams. No more guessing whether or not the next exit will have gas….no more guessing what the price will be….just clean, well organized info that will help you make record time on your next trip. Get ready for our Android app review and better days of travel!

Features
The Love’s Connect Android app is designed to help you streamline your trip while providing you with up to the minute information about the Love’s in your current area. If you check out the screen shot to the left, you will see my very favorite feature of this app nicely illustrated. With the touch of a button you can pull up all of the closest Love’s truck stops and get a listing of their current gas prices.
The reason I love this feature is that there have been many times when we pulled off for gas only to find that it was significantly cheaper two exits down the road. Love’s Connect makes this frustration a thing of the past. Now you can get a whole list of prices, their exact location, and even driving directions to the station if you should need them.
Love’s Connect has plenty to offer beyond just gas prices though. This handy Android app also allows you to give feedback to Love’s corporate, keep up to date on current specials, check for amenities at specific stops and even keep track of your own personal reward balance.
Functionality
In terms of overall functionality the Love’s Connect Android app worked great. No force

closing and no freezing in site. There were however two small issues that popped up and kept me from being able to part with that five star review in this category.
First, Love’s Connect is designed to open up every time you turn on your phone. It happens automatically and I can’t find a way to turn this feature off. This drives me nuts! Really this isn’t an Android app that I am going to be using every day and I am perfectly capable of opening things up when I need them.
Secondly, the permissions list was a bit deep. Nothing too over the top, but I always feel the fewer permissions the better.
Road Trip Worthy
Overall this is a great Android app that could definitely come in handy on the open road. Plus…it’s free! So why not give it a shot? Here’s my recommendation. If you are planning on embarking on the next great American road trip this summer then you need to have Love’s Connect riding shot gun!
