Written Android App Review
I always think that I have seen the limit of what my Android can do. That my Android app reviews have explored every corner and that all I am going to find are remakes of different Android apps that I have already gone through in some form or another.
I am always surprised to be wrong!
You would think that I would have learned my lesson by now. That I would realize that the limits of my Android are only set by the limits of what the mind can dream of. And sometime even those limits are stretched by this amazing device.
Today we are going to look at TerraTime Android app. A really beautiful and amazing Android app that looks at time from a global standpoint….literally! With TerraTime you can actually watch as the earth moves through its daily rotation and as the moon moves around the earth. Even more amazing? You can see weather patterns as they form! Trust me my friends, this Android app is something different and its something that you definitely don’t want to miss.

Features
TerraTime works off of various satellites to offer you an eye on the sky like never before. The Android app is real time, it is interactive and it offers you accurate simulations based on actual satellite imagery. Plus, the TerraTime clock and compass setting allow you to track the phases of the moon, sunrise, sunset and transit times.
You can even check on sea ice!
What’s my favorite feature? Well, just look at that screen shot! TerraTime is beautiful. Yes, this is all information that you can easily find through various forms. But none of them package that info in quite the same way as this unique Android app.
Functionality
When I first saw the info on TerraTime I was scared that it couldn’t live up to the hype. That it would be one of those Android apps that over promised, under delivered and left me hanging in terms of functionality.
The good news? It didn’t! The bad news? Well….there really isn’t any!
TerraTime
TerraTime works great. It loaded quickly onto my Android and hasn’t shown a glitch since. The only small downside that I have found is that the TerraTime Android app does have a slight tendency to drain my battery. It’s not awful, but it is enough that I notice it and it might be too much for some of you who depend on every ounce of your battery just to make it through your day.
Value
Ringing the box at $2.99, TerraTime definitely comes with a cost. This isn’t a free Android app and its not one that can be bought with just a few pennies. This one takes a slight investment. Is it worth it? To me it is! As I said earlier, TerraTime is unique. It is bold and different and shows me things that no other Android app can. This is exactly what I look for in a paid app. I want something that doesn’t make me regret spending my hard earned cash and something that I can’t get for free from seven other apps. So yeah, TerraTime is worth the cash. And I think that its definitely worth a few minutes so that you can check it out for yourself.
