Sometimes it feels as if the whole world is on a diet. Or at least every person that is a part of MY little slice of the world! The problem with diets is that they are boring and most of them are beyond the slightest realm of realism when it comes to something that you can actually stick to for a long period of time. I try. I honestly try and then before I know it we are sitting down at my favorite restaurant and I am faced with a giant plate full of goodness that just throws my so called “diet” right out the window.

Honestly I’ve spent quite a bit of time with this Android app and have found a good deal to love about it. Literally there are over 10,000 foods items ready and waiting for you all in one handy little Android app.
The downside? Well, that is one thing that I just haven’t found yet!

The way it works is quite simple. First, browse the menu and find and item that looks tasty. Next, pull up the restaurant in question using Fast Food Calorie Lookup. Then find the menu item you’re after. Just give it a click and the calorie count will pop up right on your Android screen. That’s it! It’s that simple and really that is what makes it so brilliant.
What do I love? A few things. First, I love that this Android app works off of an internal database rather than a constant internet search. This means that you have your info any time, any where and without having to wait for a signal to come through.
I also love that the developer is more than willing to add new restaurants at the request of their users. Just message them the restaurants you are interested in and they will do their best to work it into a future update. Now THAT is customer service!
The only downside here is that you have to realize that all you are getting is calorie count. No nutritional data and no breakdown. Fast Food Calorie Lookup works, and it works well, it just doesn’t get fancy.

Almost even better is the fact that permissions are practically non-existent on this Android app making it both easy and SAFE for the average consumer. Honestly I could not be happier on the functionality front and I can’t think of one facet where Fast Food Calorie Lookup could improve in this area.
