Written Android App Review
Finally! The Apple classic has made its way to the Android market and I could not be happier. Why you ask? Because my friends, this is the one…the only!…Cut the Rope! The game that takes addictive, shakes it up with a gallon sized jug of Red Bull then slams its way back into the palm of your hand.
Can you tell that I’m excited? Well you should be to! Let’s go find out why 40 million players can’t be wrong!

Here’s how it works. The game starts out by introducing you to little Om Nom, your new monster friend. A few things to note….Om Nom is starving and he only eats candy! The little guy is quite helpless, so its up to you to feed him some tasty treats as you make your way through the Cut the Rope Android journey.
Basically this is a game of physics set on a cute background worthy of the most giggle filled show for the under 5 crowd. As you cut the ropes, the candy swings down through the stage until (hopefully!) connecting with Om Nom’s mouth and finding its way to his quickly filling belly. The further you go the harder things get as new types of challenges and obstacles are waiting around every corner.
Best part? Hands down the look on little Om Nom’s face when he doesn’t get his tasty treat! That look alone always cracks me up and is definitely worth my $0.99!
Functionality
In terms of functionality the Cut the Rope Android app is right on target. There was not a single force close during the entire review process and the Cut the Rope Android app did not freeze either. No glitches, no issues, no problems and I am absolutely thrilled. Of course, that is exactly what I would expect from a game like this, but I have been proven wrong before!
Things also look good on the permissions front! There are a few that make me question their purpose, such as Course Location, but nothing that I can’t live with. Plus, the list is short, making it much easier for me to swallow what is there.

Fun Factor
Here is my first question. Does it really get any better than the Cut the Rope Android app? Does it really? I’m thinking no. And here’s why. This is one of those rare, rare games that strikes the perfect balance. First, it fits onto the screen of the Android perfectly, making it easy and fun to play. Next, the graphics are great and the story line is catchy. Gameplay? It’s on point. Permissions? No problem. Cute main character? Check. Really they have left no stone unturned.
So, if you are one of those holdouts who haven’t given this game a try then now is the time to act! If nothing else take a few minutes to check out the free version and find out what all the fuss is about. I think you just might be impressed!
One thing is for certain! This game will leave you Om Nom Nomming for more!
