Written Android App Review
A nameless, faceless force is trying to rain down piggy doom on your fair cities in Missile Defense Android app. Thankfully you are armed with three anti-missile ground canons that can take out those pesky bombs with a little precision aiming. One thing’s for sure, this Android app review is gonna be a blast.
Gameplay
There is nothing confusing about the Missile Defense Android app, that’s for sure. Aim, shoot, win. That’s it. I haven’t played such a straight forward game in ages. It’s probably because Missile Defense Android app appears to be modeled after such arcade and Atari classics as Missile Command and Missile Commander.
Don’t confuse straight forward with easy, because beating Missile Defense Android app is definitely a challenge. It’s those pesky bombs. They shoot in so many different angles, and come down hot and heavy, that it’s difficult to keep your bases clear.
Dropping items can help or hinder your efforts. Tap on them to collect. And keep tabs on how many missiles are left in your arsenal. If you run out you will be open to attack while your stock pile replenishes, so make em count.
There are two different game modes in Missile Defense Android app: challenge mode, which gradually builds the number of missiles you have to defeat and the difficulty, and arcade mode which lets you choose a background and try your hand at defeating 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000 missiles in one setting.
Thankfully, Missile Defense saves your progress when you hit milestones and you can choose to start challenge mode at your latest milestone instead of starting from the beginning again.
Graphics & Design

Missile Defense
Design wise Missile Defense Android app is definitely more advanced than Missile Command, but the graphics are still relatively simple. I like consistency. If developers had opted for a more polished set of graphics the arcade feel and retro fun would be negated.
In this case, simple is good. Sure, there is a certain amount of detail in the buildings and in the pivoting anti-missile batteries. But it is all comfortably settled in the arcade-style game aesthetic.
Fun Factor
There is a certain amount of innate satisfaction you can get from blasting the crap out of stuff. Missile Defense Android app definitely appeals to that desire with their shoot-em-up style app.
The combination of fast paced action and classic gameplay fun makes Missile Defense more engaging than you would think. It’s the kind of app that you end up playing a lot more than you expect. Maybe all that blowing stuff up business is cathartic.
Value
Missile Defense is an ad supported Android app, but the app does its best to keep ads off the screen while you destroy incoming missiles. Besides, the download is free, and free is fabulous
