Written Android App Review
Do you dream of vacation? Do you dream of warm sunny days and sweet ocean breezes? Yeah, you’re definitely not alone on that one! Unfortunately my office just doesn’t come stocked with its very own window to a beach front paradise. The good news? With the new My Beach Android app, my Android does!
Now I am in complete control as I can build the beach of my dreams and have it ready and waiting each and every time I reach for my Android device. My Beach definitely takes the live wallpaper market to the next level and I for one can’t wait to learn more.

Here’s how it works. Through your wallpaper menu you can customize the My Beach Android app to reflect your own personal version of paradise. You can choose the time of day, color of towel and umbrella, type of beverage and even whether or not there are a few sharks cruising the shore line.
And I can promise you that this is only the beginning! There are tons of available options packed in this Android app and you can use them to build a practically unlimited number of beach scenarios. You can even have fireworks for the 4th of July!
What do I love? I love the sharks! Sharks are kind of my thing anyways and to have one on my Android? Amazing!
What do I not love? Well, I wish that the My Beach Android app had the ability to change the sky based on the time of day. If there was some kind of automatic update so to speak. You do have the ability to go in and manually make these changes, there just isn’t any type of automatic setting.
Functionality
On the functionality front this Android app performed perfectly! I am so impressed with all

aspects of the My Beach Android app that it is truly hard to put it into words. The app loaded smoothly, ran without a hitch and did not seem to enforce a crazy amount of battery drain. In fact, I didn’t notice any battery drain during the review or since as this is one Android app that will probably stick around my device for quite some time to come.
And what! No permissions! I think I’m in love! It is rare to find and Android app with no permissions. It just doesn’t happen all that often and I believe that it should happen more. The fewer permissions, the better the app. No permissions? Two thumbs up!
Relaxation Factor
At the end of the day this is one live wallpaper that is well worth the $0.99 investment that the developer is asking for. But, if you are one of those try before you buy types, the you will be pleased to learn that there is a free version of My Beach ready and waiting in the Android market. It doesn’t have all the features of the full version, but it does give you a nice idea of what you can expect from this great Android app.
Overall I feel that this is one of the most well developed Android apps that I have looked at and I have really enjoyed it. And if you give it a try then I think that you will as well!
