Written Android App Review
Tower Defense. Love it or hate it, the games are addicting and delicious all at the same time. The only problem is finding that perfect tower defense game on the Android platform seems to be one small step from impossible.
At least that’s what I thought! It’s what I thought until I spent some time getting to know the new Myth Defense LF Android app a bit better. At first glance this is one Android app that seems to have it all. It pulls you into its grasp and leaves you wanting more right from the words go.
Sound impressive? Well, I was impressed, and let me tell you why.
Myth Defense LF
Features
First off the Myth Defense LF Android app is a Tower Defense game of the first order. It is well made, well thought out and it incorporates several elements that you don’t find in a standard Tower Defense game. You have your battle mode, your campaign, your 30 levels of hardness and even your Alchemy and that is just the beginning of the list!
It’s hard to put into words, but Myth Defense LF seems to take you out of the realm of a simple game and just shoot you into a whole new world. One where options are endless and you are only limited by the restrictions that you place on yourself.
What do I love? I love how many different facets make themselves at home in this game. It’s like playing Tower Defense, an RPG and a puzzle game all in one single well wrapped package.
Functionality
Myth Defense LF
Often times functionality can be a bit of a weak point when it comes to Android apps and specifically Android games. I am very pleased to say that with Myth Defense LF this was not even a blip on the radar! Not only did the game function perfectly from beginning to end, it did so with a style that was both quick and stable. Love that!
At this point I was almost scared to flip over and check out the permission paged, but it turns out that I shouldn’t have given things a second thought! The Myth Defense LF Android App came stocked with just three permissions and none of them were worth a second look.
Let’s see…a well made game that works perfectly and isn’t trying to make off with all my best kept personal secrets? I think I’m in love!
Fun Factor
Before we round things out there is just one more point I want to make about Myth Defense LF. This Android app comes with a bit of a steep price tag….$3.95. That’s a bit high, I know its a bit high and it can be a number that is hard to swallow. But I feel that the game is worth the money as it delivers on all counts and provides a well rounded player experience.
So here is the middle ground. Myth Defense LF has a free version ready and waiting for you on the Android market. And, in what I am beginning to see as their true fashion, your progress will be automatically transferred from the free version to the full version when you make the switch. No time lost and no need to start over from the beginning. Which means that the next question is, what have you got to lose? Those of you who love Tower Defense or are even just on the hunt for a new Android game to know and love should take a few minutes to find out for yourself what Myth Defense LF. I think that you just might be surprised at what you find!
