Unlike a lot of benchmark utilities available in the Market, Vellamo is sporting a fabulous UI. The interface is slick and presentable, with all the important features only a few clicks away. Even when running benchmarks, the app focuses on being transparent and user-friendly: You’re always aware of what’s going on, and the tests themselves even look cool. All in all, Vellamo goes a long way toward making this kind of benchmarking accessible to the common user.

At the end of the day, Vellamo is easily one of the best benchmarking utilities available for Android. It combines industry standbys with new improvements, and with a stunning interface, to boot. Priced appropriately at the free mark (never pay for a good test, we always say) there’s nothing to lose by comparing your device to the Android world. In fact, you might have a lot to gain.
