With the SimplySign by Vignature Android app you will be able to sign PDF documents right on your Android, no printer, ink or paper required.

SimplySign by Vignature manages this by utilizing your Android’s camera. Allow me to elaborate.

Locate the document you want to sign and open it with SimplySign by Vignature. Once Vignature’s Android app opens the document tap anywhere to sign. SimplySign will launch your Android’s camera, taking a time stamped photo signature and attaching it to the document.

From there you can email the document, to yourself or someone else. It’s that simple.

I was a little dubious about this app initially. It seemed too good to be true, but I can assure you it isn’t. SimplySign by Vignature does require a brief registration, but it’s a onetime deal and only takes a minute.

After that you are good to go. A word of warning to my fellow Android users: you may have to disable other PDF readers to ensure items always open with the SimplySign by Vignature Android app. Otherwise, I don’t have any complaints. This app and app concept are brilliant.

Practical Application

I foresee the SimplySign by Vignature Android app being useful for busy parents, business owners, lawyers, doctors and even officials. Really, the sky is the limit.

If you’ve ever had to print a document, sign it, then scan it back in or hand deliver it, you know that all those steps waste time and can take a lot of effort. You need SimplySign by Vignature.

Layout & Design

The SimplySign by Vignature Android app packs a big punch in a minimalist package. The app itself is sleek and uncomplicated. Navigating it to register is a breeze.

The PDF reader and signing interface is also simple. I wish there was an option to pinch and zoom on this screen, otherwise I have no complaints. SimplySign by Vignature walks you through the steps of signing documents with your face in seconds.

Value

I have to say, this app works perfectly. Vignature simply saw a need and are now fixing it with style and grace. The SimplySign app has been available on that other OS for a few months now. Glad that they finally got it together and came to the OS that almost 40 percent of Americans are using.

Oh, and by the by, the SimplySign by Vignature app is completely free to download and use. Christmas in August, anybody?
