Written Android App Review
It’s been a busy year for the folks over at Zaarly. Between winning awards and attracting some big name investors (Ashton Kutcher and Tech Crunch Founder Michael Arrington among them) they managed to develop a handy dandy Zaarly Android app just for us.
What is Zaarly? I thought you might ask. It helps to think of Zaarly Android app as a backwards version of Craigslist. Instead of spending hours sorting through stuff for sale and hoping you find what you want, use Zaarly to leave a message with what you want, what you want to spend on it and what kind of time frame you are working with.

Zaarly Android app lets you create custom postings. Looking for last minute tickets to a concert? The latest gadgets? New furniture? Go ahead. Ask for it! Zaarly Android app keeps track of your posts and sends you a text message whenever someone says they have what you want.
A handy in-app search feature allows you to browse your area for ongoing Zaarly posts. You can also stay in touch with buyers and sellers via secure Twilio phone numbers, so you never have to give out your real information if you don’t want to. All communications are logged by the app for easy reference.
Payment options are also built in to Zaarly Android app. You can select their secure in-app payment system or do it the old fashioned way, in person and in cash.
An activity tab helps you keep track of all your Zaarly Android app business.
User Interface
Zaarly’s platform is a simple, yet brilliant, idea. The app’s design is on par. Simple bottom button navigation makes posting, browsing, updating your profile and tracking Zaarly Android app activity easy.
Your Zaarly registration also interfaces with Zaarly’s Web site, making it easy to conduct business however you choose.
The app also functions perfectly with my Android’s dedicated back, menu and home buttons. There’s nothing confusing or fussy here, and I like it.
Practical Application

It makes sense that an app like Zaarly is doing well in a recession economy. This app is taking off in a lot of major cities, and there are plenty of folks looking for gigs.
In addition to helping users find what they want, I believe Zaarly will be good for commerce. Looking for help in a new city? Post a tour request to Zaarly! The possibilities are practically endless. I like the open format and have high hopes for this app.
Value
There is no cost associated with downloading the Zaarly Android app or registering with Zaarly, which you can do online or in the app. Zaarly’s value will grow as it becomes more popular. Where I live Zaarly posts are few and far between, but I’ll hang on to the Android app just in case that changes.
