Written Android App Review
Forget those crazy Dance Moms. Parenting a platinum record making rock star is much more exciting. Unlock your little one’s musical destiny early with the Baby Piano LITE Android app. You’ll be dancing to their new number one hit in no time flat.
Features

Baby Piano LITE
The Baby Piano LITE Android app prepares your little one for a lifelong love of music by giving them their own keyboard. This seven note set of keys acts just like a regular piano keyboard, with a few child-friendly improvements, of course.
Each key has an animal character assigned to it. Your baby can play the keys by touching them, or they can play along with three songs included with the app: “Jingle Bells,” “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “London Bridge is Falling Down.”
If they tap along with the lighted keys correctly, the Baby Piano LITE Android app will reward your little one with a performance of the song.
My favorite feature is the recording option. Simply tap record to capture your baby’s first song on the Baby Piano LITE Android app. Play it back again and again.
A few things on my wish list for this app include an option to move saved recordings to the SD card or email them to friends and family and a baby lock.
Graphics & Design

Baby Piano LITE
A cheerful blue sky background and the bright, smiling faces of the animal characters give the Baby Piano LITE Android app a little extra life. The fun colors, sounds and animations are sure to appeal to younger children. I have to admit it was fun to play with this app and get in touch with my inner child for a bit.
User Interface
I definitely approve of the Baby Piano Lite app’s use of space. The majority of this app is the interactive keys, which is fitting. What would a baby need a complicated options menu for?
I do wish the record button was a little harder to get to, however it’s possible that your baby will record themselves playing which is rather neat.
Each animal character is simple, yet well drawn and engaging. I think this app is super child-friendly and appropriate.
Value
As you might have guessed, Baby Piano LITE is a free version of an app called Baby Piano. The Baby Piano LITE app is free to download and enjoy, which I’m sure all parents will love.
If you do want to upgrade the app, it costs $1.99. You get to create multiple recordings of your child playing. The piano gets another key, creating a full octave of notes. There’s also a baby lock, which was one of my complaints about the lite version of this app, and more songs are included to play along with.
Either way, Baby Piano is a delightful app your child is sure to love. Give it a try. You might even discover a musical aptitude in your baby.
