Written Android App Review
As an avid reader, writer and lover of words, I come across a fair amount of word apps. You know the kind. They inevitably manage to take the elements of Scrabble, Boggle, anagrams, crosswords and word searches and turn them into watered down versions of the originals.
So it was with a heavy heart that I downloaded the 7 Little Words Android app, sure I was about to be disappointed again.
What I found was a new kind of word game. The concept was so simple, not to mention downright fun, that I didn’t believe it myself for a moment.
If you even have a small appreciation for words or like word games trust me. You are going to want to pay attention to my Android app review of 7 Little Words.
Gameplay
7 Little Words
The 7 Little Words Android app gives you a list of seven words on each level. Across from each word is a letter count. At the bottom of the screen there are blocks with two or three letters on each.
It’s your job to combine the letters in the bottom to create words corresponding to the words on top. By the end of a round there will not be any letters left. 7 Little Words is a healthy mix of all those games I mentioned earlier, and something else.
I have never seen a game like this. It’s so deceptively simple yet deliciously literary. The 7 Little Words Android app is either the sneakiest vocabulary lesson I’ve ever seen in my life, or a genius new game. I imagine it’s a little bit of both.
User Interface
The UI for 7 Little Words is straightforward. There is no chance of getting confused or lost. Each set of 30 levels is organized into a collection. Each collection has numbered boards.
Select letters with a touch. Submit your guesses with another touch. This app is as easy to use as it is to fall in love with.
Graphics & Design

7 Little Words
There’s a certain understated elegance to the 7 Little Words Android app. It’s deliciously plain, with a toast colored backdrop and simple black lettering.
The message is clear: this app is meant to provide simple pleasure through intriguing gameplay. There is nothing fussy or complicated about this app. Even an Android virgin will be able to navigate the app and enjoy it.
Value
Best of all? The first 30 levels of the 7 Little Words Android app are included with the free app download from the Android Market. I know it’s a bit frustrating that the entire app isn’t free. Each additional set costs $.99. I think it’s worth it, and plan on buying them at a leisurely pace over time.
I really love the 7 Little Words Android app and think anyone with a love for the English language is bound to agree.

I have android market but this game isn’t on my market .. I have a captivate
I really like this game. It seems to be simple but isn’t that easy to play. You need a great vocab for playing it.
