You’ve heard of connect the dots. Now it’s time for connect the blobs. During my Android app review I discovered the Connect’Em app is more than meets the eye.
The idea is to connect the little blue blobs with numbers on them to the correct number of other blue blobs. When they are matched correctly, blobs turn green with delight. If you connect them incorrectly, the blobs turn red.
There are three different modes of game play to keep the Conect’Em Android app fresh. Race the clock and use the fewest possible moves to get top scores in challenge mode. Take your own sweet time with free play in arcade mode. And play against the clock in time attack.
Connect’Em Android app has 2,000 levels of this stuff. That’s right. It’s not a typo. I said 2,000 levels. That’s mindboggling. And the app is completely free.
This game is smart, addictive and super cute. It doesn’t get any better than Connect’Em.
Educational Factor

I’m a big fan of sneaky learning. After a few rounds of the Connect’Em Android app it became obvious: this app is perfect for teaching numbers and logic to children in a whole new way.
First and foremost, Connect’Em is definitely a game. However the easy level in arcade mode is perfect for kids of any ages. This app is kid friendly, with all ages fun, so why not put it to use as a mathematical primer?
The Connect’Em Android app gets a big bump for being a prime educational app without even trying.
Layout & Design
The multi-limbed blobs in Connect’Em are ridiculously adorable. I fell in love with them instantly. The fun, colorful graphics of this app are delightful. There’s nothing serious or overwrought about them. They’re just good, clean cartoon graphics. It’s a perfect fit.
The user interface is also super simple. In most cases you will use your Android’s native back and menu buttons to navigate, even while you are working on a level. There is no pause button, you have to hit your Android’s back key.
I wish the Connect’Em app had a help section with some basics about controls, such as the back key trick. There is a tutorial to help with the actual game play, and I suppose that’ll have to do.

I already let the cat out of the bag, but it’s worth repeating. The Connect’Em Android app has more than 2,000 levels of adorable, intelligent game play and it’s completely free. You have nothing to lose. Get this app, you are going to love it.
