We found Bubbleator Live Wallpaper extremely convenient and easy to use during our Android app review. A friendly set up function helps you authorize Bubbleator Live Wallpaper to pull entries from Facebook and Twitter to a stock ticker style feed.
The app then automatically updates three rows of scrolling notifications with user pics and messages as they come in, alongside calendar events, weather, incoming text messages, missed calls, and (with the help of two rad plug ins) optional local deals and sports coverage.
Bubbleator Live Wallpaper Android app is completely customizable. You can even tell the wallpaper how frequently to update with posts from specific users, set sync schedules, and dismiss notifications with the swipe of a finger.
Suffice to say, this app rocks. It delivers notifications in a smart new way with minimal fuss and links directly to the appropriate Android app or website for expanded content. It even allows you to “Like” or comment on Facebook posts, and reply or retweet Tweets right from your home screen.
Layout & Design
If you plan on using the Bubbleator Live Wallpaper Android app you might have a little housekeeping to do. The scrolling feed spans all of your home screens all the time, which can be frustrating if you have a lot of icons on any particular home screen.
Luckily the feed position is customizable. Access the wallpaper’s settings menu to position it at the top, middle or bottom of your screen.
The default background of the Bubbleator Live Wallpaper Android app is nice enough, but you can choose pics you’ve used for past wallpapers if you prefer. There is not an option to manually assign a picture. So if you want to use one, make it your wallpaper first, then go back into Bubbleator Live Wallpaper to combine the two.

The Bubbleator Live Wallpaper Android app’s team claims the app will not drain batteries more than any other live wallpaper. Here at Android Apps Review we have extensive experience with live wallpapers, so we expected the best.
Unfortunately this app did cause some rampant battery drain, especially if the phone had incoming unchecked notifications for things like email and messaging. Normally our test phone is a trooper, but overnight the live wallpaper drained the battery entirely.
During the day when you are checking your phone frequently and clearing notifications this problem disappears.
Value
Bubbleator Live Wallpaper is free to download and use. So is the optional Bubbleator Deals add-on that uses your location to sync with Foursquare deals. The Bubbleator Sports Add-On does cost money, but is a must have for sports fans and only costs $.99.
This is an amazing app that brings your life to your home screen in an appealing package with tons of customizable options. Bubbleator Live Wallpaper is a heck of a deal. Trust us, you want this app.
