Finger Gravity: Written Android App Review
In space the only source of gravity is you, or your finger to put a point on it. In Finger Gravity your reflexes will be tested as you slingshot a space ship through mazes, collecting stars and making it back to base in one piece.
Gameplay

Finger Gravity is an extremely visually appealing game (more about that in a moment), but it’s also pretty fun to play, once you get the hang of it. The trick is this: whichever way your finger goes, the space ship will follow. Of course, every level is fraught with dangers, from lasers and pulsing blocks, to enemy spaceships that don’t like you one bit.
On each level you’ll try to collect all three stars, avoid damage and make it back to the green X in a timely manner. To be honest, this game is pretty tough at first, however it’s also fairly easy to make it through a level, even if you are a little banged up and you only get one or two stars. Ideally you’ll end up balancing your trajectory and drifting around corners, obstacles and bad guys alike. It takes some practice, but it’s pretty cool.
And there’s plenty of gameplay to be had. There are currently 60 levels in Finger Gravity. The variety is pretty healthy, and as you progress more and more obstacles will rise up to greet you. The game isn’t boring in the least.
Layout & Design
Finger Gravity
As we mentioned, Finger Gravity is tricked out in neons. It’s really quite a sight. We’re used to seeing these shades in Tron-style tunnel runners, but they work quite well on a game like this too.
One complaint we do have is that the game boards are pretty busy, and even the type in the game is small and hard to read. The game would probably work best on a tablet, as long as it was optimized. Also, the ads are a bit intrusive in this app, blocking off part of the game board at all times even though it’s a banner.
Overall Value
If you can handle the ads, Finger Gravity is entirely free to download and enjoy. It may not be the best app we’ll see all year, but it’s a pretty solid offering with a unique game control style and tons of colorful accents. It’s definitely worth a gander if you’re in the market for something to distract you on a morning commute or while you’re waiting in the doctor’s office.
