Web Reader 3D: Written and Video Android App Review

Here at Android Apps Review we are always looking for new ways to play around with age old staples like our web browsers. We love anything that can throw us a bone as far as a new technology, a new idea, or a new implementation. As such, we’re quite enamored with Web Reader 3D, from developer MiaBella. The app brings 3D web to a whole new meaning, allowing us to quickly peep some of our favorite news sources and then launch straight to them. It’s not quite a whole technology yet, but with a few updates (and a speedy read through of our review) we have a lot of hope for Web Reader 3D.

Web Reader 3D for Android

As stated, Web Reader 3D’s main goal is to present you with a new way to view some of your standard, stock web pages. You can load up to eight, and every time the app is booted up, it will refresh these pages automatically. Page loading was decent, though somewhat slower than in our favorite browsers. That being said, once the snapshots are in place, one needs only to lift a finger and start scrolling. Web Reader 3D automatically creates a magnified view of the pages, allowing you to in a glance find the best headlines and most interesting posts in a sea of eight unique websites. It’s a cool thought, though it does take some getting used to if you’re accustomed to other browsing mechanics.

However, you can use pinch to zoom to adjust the height of the magnified portal, making it much easier on the eyes if you’re sensitive about this sort of thing. Once we dialed in our preferences, it was no problem at all to peruse our daily haunts. In fact, it saved us quite a lot of time.

Design and Controls

One of the things we like most about Web Reader 3D are the touch controls. With two fingers you can adjust the height and width of your viewing portal, allowing you to get exactly the sort of exposure you’re looking for. However, we do wish the app opened our pages itself. An in-app browser would be a great way to round out the functionality, saving us from having to trip back and forth between our browser and Web Reader 3D. However, we know the developers are capable of this, and a few quick updates could easily add it into the picture. At least, that’s our opinion anyway!

Overall Value

At the end of the day, considering Web Reader 3D is free, there’s no reason not to give it a go! It’s a unique way to view your daily website locations, and all in one spot, too. If you’re looking to save time, or just play around with the Web itself, Web Reader 3D is a fantastic, and budget-friendly utility to do exactly that. In other words, give it a test drive! After all, why not?

  1. An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
