The Zipwhip Text Messaging app allows the user to send text messages that will sync to their desktop computer or Android tablet all at the same time while still using their existing mobile number. Thus, this app can be accessed through their desktop or Android tablet device. Right after app installation, the user will be prompted to register and download the desktop version of the app via the Zipwhip website. The user must note that this app will have access to their existing data and text message plan, and all texts messages will be sent and received by using the user’s existing cell phone number. The receiving parties do not need to have the actual app installed on their device in order to receive the user’s text messages, and text messaging costs will be the same as if the user was solely using their phone to send and receive text messages to other cellular devices, since it is still functioning on their existing data and text messaging plan. There are no hidden fees. If the user has access to an international text messaging plan, this app can work with it as well. Phone contacts will be automatically synced and newly added contacts will be synced on the next loading of the app. Also, text messages sent and received on the user’s phone will be automatically synced to their desktop computer or Android tablet.
