eToro Trade Alerts: Written Android App Review
When it comes to trading, the more you know the better off you are. It’s this simple ideology that fuels the new eToro Trade Alerts Android app from financial power house eToro. This is just the latest in a series of useful mobile tools from eToro, but it’s probably my favorite due to some seriously cool recent updates that take trading social while putting the info you need to succeed at your fingertips.

The eToro Trade Alerts Android app is basically a trader cheat sheet. This handy app sends your Android device alerts about when to buy and sell and hold. Fueled by investment research partner Trading Central, eToro Trade Alerts is a super solid mobile app for technical trade analysis in real time. The app supports most major indices such as NASDQ, France40, Dow Jones and more.
How you reach alerts is entirely customizable. You can set the app up to alert you an unlimited amount of times a day, or opt for three or 10 a day. It’s really your call, and the settings can be altered on a daily basis. You can even opt to turn off notifications at night (c’mon, even hardcore traders need to sleep sometime).
Once a tip alert comes your way, you can peruse the trends, Like an alert, check out clear charts and graphs, and even leave comments available to yourself and other users. I did find myself wishing the app had an option to save those liked alerts to favorites so they were easily accessible. Unfortunately, once you move an alert to the archive, you can see that it’s been archived, but you can no longer access the alert info. I also found myself wishing for an option to move alerts out of archive if necessary.
The social features of this app are really quite extraordinary. I just wished for a bit more. How about some share options? An email export option? It does work hand-in-hand with the eToro Trader app, so that’s something.
Layout & Design
eToro Trade Alerts
While the alert options in eToro Trade Alerts are extensive, the app’s look is non-negotiable. Thankfully, it’s pretty straight forward, and easy to use. The graphs are available in a larger wide screen view. However, I did find myself a bit annoyed by the on-chart curser concept. Once I touched a spot, any scroll would change the screen. So it looks like the app could use a bit more tweaking in the control department.
I also ran into some install issues, which the dev was happy to help me with. USA users may run into some initial compatibility issues while the app rolls out.
Overall Value
For a trader alert tool with so many cool features, I was definitely impressed with the eToro Trade
Alerts Android app’s price tag. This bad boy is free to download and to demo. If you’ve been looking for a mobile solution to keep the latest trade news at your fingertips, you can’t do much better. I highly recommend eToro customers and fiscal sorts of all kinds take a gander at this title. You’ll be glad you did.
