aButterfly Fantasia: Written Android App Review
Here at Android Apps Review, we tend not to review some of the smaller items that appear in the Google Play Store. What are we talking about? We’re talking about the widgets, the wallpapers, and all the other smaller “apps” that make up such a huge portion of the sum total. We do this because it’s simply too hard to keep up with them all, but today, we’re going to make an exception to talk for a second about aButterfly Fantasia by developer FlyingPig. This wallpaper is really quite gorgeous, and is cheap enough as well to warrant our attention. So without further ado, let’s jump straight into the meat and potatoes of the issue!
Concept and Functionality

So what exactly does aButterfly Fantasia do? Well, it works something like this. You set-up the app, which is actually a live-wallpaper as you like it to be, and then go back to your home screen. Now, you’ll find that you have an entire roster of butterflies running amuck on your springboard. It’s relay quite gorgeous to watch them fly between your icons, or react in slow-motion when you double-tap the screen. There’s also a single giant butterfly that will appear occasionally to spice things up.
It’s that simple! However, for such an easy addition to your Android phone, you’re going to get a whole lot of options to customize, as well. For instance, you can turn that big bad butterfly off or on at will, as well as change the color of the critters. Want to select a different night themed background? No problem! The list goes on and on, but either way you’ll be able to change just about everything from color to number and right back again. This is really what makes the app in our eyes.
Design and Artwork
The other element that makes aButterfly Fantasia worth our time is its looks. The wallpaper is fluid as all get out, providing us with a visually stunning bed on which to put our app icons. It works like a champ, and we had not a single performance issue while using it. We’re sure that slightly older phones may experience some setbacks, but for the most part, we could not have gotten better performance out of the app if we had tried. This is really quite a feat, and yet another reason to give the wallpaper a go if you’re curious.
Overall Value
Best of all, aButterfly Fantasia is pretty darn cheap, too! The app costs much less than the cost of a single Starbucks latte, making it an unbelievable bargain for those in need of a cooler live wallpaper to go along with their snappy Android phone. It’s efficient, it’s fast, and it’s beautiful. And if that’s not a recommendation than I have no idea what is! Give this one a go. You won’t be sorry.
