Features
Using HomeFinder is rather simple-simply install and boot up the app, then browse listing in your area (based on location settings which need to be enabled for app to work), or based on your area of interest. Set the search radius in miles, then customize the types of real estate you are interested in (Homes, property type, price range, etc), and if you prefer to rent or purchase. Being able to set a max and min price range is quite useful! From there, you’ll be able to view homes listed through HomeFinder.com on a great GoogleMaps-style interactive viewer. You can even add personal notes about each spot you are interested in, to help remind yourself and the like. Furthermore, HomeFinder has a neat Purchase Price and Loan calculator, helping the buyer visualize just how much a home will cost in the long run, based on interest rates and loan types. Be sure to make an account with the app, so that it will allow you to save your searches, notes and homes you are interested in. You can even set the search options to view homes that are open for Open House viewing as well! You will need an active network connection (data plan or wireless) for HomeFinder to work. Otherwise, it won’t be able to pull up its listings of real estate for sale in your region of interest.

HomeFinder offers very professional visuals and a swell layout. It’s clear the developers have taken the time to produce a solid-appearing app, with high quality menu graphics. It’s also very easy to figure out how to use HomeFinder to browse for houses, thanks to the easy layout. I really liked the integrated map, with pins marking where various houses listed through HomeFinder.com may be found. It’s a great way to search for available real estate in your area, and certainly a far cry from driving around neighborhoods searching for “For Sale” signs in the past.
Value
HomeFinder is a free app, available through the Google Play store. If you are in the market for a new or used house, plot of land or the like, I would certainly suggest getting HomeFinder. It’s very easy to use and should greatly help enhance the real estate shopping experience.
