Care4teen Inc. has released a great Android app called Care4teen for parents of teens, to protect their kids from viewing certain inappropriate websites or videos. Ever wonder what your child is doing online while you’re away at work? Or what your kids are doing in their rooms with their doors shut late at night while on the internet? Well, don’t worry anymore! Now, with Care4teen, you can monitor their online activities in real-time, receive reports of their history of visited sites, and even watch 30-second clips from sketchy websites! Care4teen is great for any parent who is genuinely concerned about that their child is doing online.
Features
Care4teen is full of fantastic features, such as providing the parent with basically all of the information about their child’s, teenager’s, or young adult’s online life. Care4teen blocks sites based on a collective hive-mind-like approach in which any parent can add new sites to the Care4teen database and rate the ones that are currently there. Parents can also add their own white or black lists to restrict or allow access to specific websites. Care4teen is designed to be able to run completely invisible in the background on the teen’s device, or in unrestricted mode (allowing anything yet still showing the parent what the teen is viewing). Care4teen also uses the mobile device’s built in GPS to monitor them, showing the parent where their child is at all times! It can block individual applications as well, plus send the parent remote reports on phone calls, apps and games launched, SMS text messages sent and received, and sites visited. Overall, Care4teen is great for parents who like knowing what their child is doing, and it will help hold the child accountable with the parents for what they view online.
Graphical Layout
Care4teen has a great layout and appearance. It’s a tad bit bland, but for those who enjoy emptiness more than cluttered-ness, this app is perfect. It’s simplistic and rather easy to use. The layout has a very clean feel to it. Overall, Care4teen has a splendid layout.
