Ready for some high flying fun, and balloon bursting color practice? The newly revamped Kids Balloons Rainbow Android app has it all. Balloons, gale bursts of wind, crows and more. This app from ASPGameSolutions is a great way for kids to practice their colors, dexterity and more.

In Kids Balloons Rainbow, it is your job to burst balloons of a certain color before they hit the top of the screen. The app calls out and shows kids the colors that they should be popping, and then lets them get to it.
Along the way, players will face sudden shifts in the wind, flying birds and shifting colors. Kids Balloons Rainbow is broken up into three different levels of difficulty: easy, medium and hard. That’s a handy way to make sure that no matter how young (or old) your kiddo is, they’ll be able to find some challenge in this game. As you accumulate points, you earn prize kitties. It’s pretty cute to see the game count out how many kitties you won at the end of the game.
I was certainly impressed with the difficulty tiers in Kids Balloons Rainbow. However, I found the soundtrack and sound effects a bit unnerving. Happily the app has some options to turn those off if you so desire. I also lost a life once or twice without ever seeing the balloon I was supposed to be bursting. So there might be a few kinks in this app that need working out.

The graphics and design in Kids Balloons Rainbow are a bit stiff and unimaginative. I do think that the app could use a bit of a facelift. The graphics are just too basic. Also, you remain on an unchanging game board for the entire, never ending game. That’s bound to get boring. By creating achievements or stages in the game, this app could be much more interesting.
Overall Value:
Kids Balloons Rainbow is a free app supported by advertisements. For me, ads are a bit of a parenting red flag. But, if you have some security measures in place, you should be safe handing this app to your little ones. There is no option to upgrade the app via in-app purchase, unfortunately. Still, you can’t beat free.
