Ever come across a fun viewpoint on a classic fairytale story? Want to read a book with your child that can appear like a pop up book and have fun interactive activities? Then the Cinderella app from developer CluePoint Co., Ltd. will make sure that you wake up in a much better mood!
Features
As you first load the Cinderella app, you will be prompted to choose either to have the book read to you, or you can read the book app by yourself. When you choose to read book app to yourself, you can simply turn the virtual pages of the book by tapping on the right hand bottom corner arrow on the screen. To go back to the previous page you can tap on the bottom left hand corner arrow on the screen. On the upper left had corner of the screen there is a house icon which will take you back to the main page screen. The upper right hand corner has a musical note symbol which can be used to turn on and off the background music. There will be pages where there are text from the fairytale story line, and some pages where the virtual book will open up and become a 3D pop up book and have an interactive screen where you will help Cinderella out by doing tasks such as mopping the floor or brushing the dust off of her clothes. Instructions on what to do will be read out loud to you by the app speaker.
If the user chooses the “Read To Me” function, the gist of the app is the same just that the text of the story line is read aloud to you. You can also get a better angle of the pop up screen by shifting your device so the screen will slightly move to the right and left or up and down for an aerial view.
Graphical Layout
Overall, the story animation and images of Cinderella are beyond amazing. Superbly well done and very appealing to the user, each page will keep you hooked until the very end. The app layout and navigation is simple and easy to get around. The background music is also very entertaining and pleasing to hear. It is a combination of European like tunes blended with fantastical chimes.

Simply put, the Cinderella app is completely valued over its price. Not only does it appeal in appearance in sound, but the interactive activities, and the pop up story animation is unique and entertaining. It is a great app for children to practice reading and using their animation, and a great tool for parents to help better their children’s reading and comprehension skills.
