The Wildy Live Wallpaper app lets you customize your own device background with goofy looking animals that can be animated with the motion of your fingers and even when you do not touch the screen. With the settings option you can select one of the following characters: Patrick the deer, Charlotte the owl, Edgar the raven, Matilda the cat, or Willie the dog. However, only Patrick the deer is available for free, the rest cost 99 cents each. Once you select your designated character, you can choose to set the background theme to springtime or wintertime. You also have the option to customize the animal so that the action of the animal’s eyes follow the direction of your finger drags on your device screen, or allowing the action of the animal’s eye to be spinning when you rotate your finger around in circles on the device screen. You can also customize the background by adding snowfall for the winter background theme.

Appearance and Layout
The overall appearance of is very simple. Instructions are self-explanatory and options and easy to choose from. The animation of the characters is entertaining and the finger touch activation is spot on. Even without touching the screen, the individual movement and action of the characters is funny to watch.
There are ad banners that run along the borders of the app view screen, but there distraction level is minimal.
Value
It is a good deal that the Wildy Live Wallpaper app is offered for free, but the clincher is that the rest of the other animal characters besides Patrick the deer all need to be purchased. So for those who would prefer a different animal, then this app is not exactly “free”. However, for those who try out Patrick the deer and enjoy its antics, then they might want to consider getting the other animal(s) just for kicks and additional fun. This app is great for kids and adults alike, and its unique action activating features makes it stand out from the rest of the wallpaper apps made available in the app market these days.
