Android App Review by AndroidAppsReview.com

We really enjoy the Android platform. In fact, we have enjoyed for quite some time now, and have been with it long enough to know most of the ins and outs. And sometimes, we just wish the system came with a bit more learning potential—especially when compared to the mountain of edutainment apps available for iOS. With that in mind, though, we’re quite happy to introduce you today to Math Helper, a very useful way to catch up on your math. Whether for school or your own review, the application is a fantastic way to do some review, and to reinforce all varieties of mathematical concepts. Concept and Functionality

Math Helper for Android

If you haven’t guessed it by now, Math Helper is intended to be your all-in-one resource for getting a tighter grip on some of the higher mathematics. The app comes chock full of learning resources for a total of six topics. These include linear algebra, vector algebra, mathematical analysis, probability, and number sequencing. You’ll get review boards, materials, and problems to solve for each. In other words, no matter what course you’re in at your University, or what your job requires you to brush up on, you’re likely to find a helping hand here.

The app gives you ample resources with which to relearn concepts, but it also provides you with working examples to sweat through, too. We liked this a lot, as did we appreciate the included calculator. It’s a multifunctional (and small) addition that just completes an otherwise stunningly educational package. Use the app to prepare for an exam or a big job—either way, it’s a stone worth having in hand.

Design and Interface

The app just recently underwent a design overhaul, and we have to admit, we like the works a lot more now than before. The app is academically laid out to resemble a chalkboard, papers, and other common textures, which we found quite pleasing. At times we pined for a list more than we did an icon spread, but that’s a small complaint. Otherwise, we only wish we had scratch room for some stylus-fueled computation, as well as perhaps a bit more interactivity within the examples themselves.

Overall Value

At the end of the day, though, it’s hard to knock Math Helper too much for what it’s got going on. The app is a phenomenal way to review some of your core, higher mathematical concepts. If you’re in need you can benefit from this app or the free option, Math Helper Lite, which is certainly a bargain since it’s free. For a little bit more money than nothing, you’ll also unlock the option to follow a solution all the way through (highly recommended). Either way, you’re getting one heck of an educational bargain!
