Aquator
Android Game Review by AndroidAppsReview.com
Aquator, developed by Vacata AG, is a new game for Android that makes swimming with the fishes a good thing. If you’re up for saving your underwater home from evil-doers, that is.
Concept and Gameplay:

Usually great games include some sort of background story, and Aquator is no exception. You play the role of the super awesome Aquator, defending the Sea Kingdom from criminal AquaMonsters. These thugs wish to teach younger fish the most abhorrent of things, such as picking their nose and eating with dirty fins. If this doesn’t motivate you to jump in your high powered aqua fish suit and squash these creeps, I don’t know what will.
To play, simply tilt your device side to side to move Aquator back and forth on the screen. Your trusty phaser-like weapon fires automatically, so you don’t have to worry about tapping to shoot baddies or anything of the sort. As you travel through the water at high speeds you’ll destroy fish both big and small, including big bosses who fight back. Don’t get hit too many times or let a fish slip past you, else the game will end.
For emergencies, the Nuke button comes in handy. This end-all weapon will destroy every fish on your screen, which is perfect for when you’re outnumbered or a fish is about to hit the bottom of the screen. As far as overall gameplay, Aquator is one those great time waster games that you can’t stop playing. It’s very easy to learn but difficult to master, meaning you’ll spend quite a bit of time trying to best your last score and get even with scaly criminals.
Features:

Aquator includes a few cool features, including power ups that enable cool weapons. You’ll hit these boosts while playing, so be sure to keep an eye out for them as you’re traversing treacherous waters. Also, you can connect your Google account with the game to presumably earn achievements and possibly view leaderboards.
However, that’s where Aquator’s features stop. The game is incredibly simple, which means it can get old pretty quickly. I’d love to be able to change characters or even suits, each with its own particular weapon or ability. Also, different environments would help keep the game fresh and exciting. There’s nothing worse than a fun game that gets boring because nothing really changes. These features are only suggestions, though.
Value:

Aquator is available to download for free from Google Play and is definitely worth the download. If you’re looking for a fun and simple game that will have you drowning in a world of fishy injustice, take up fins and save the day!
Android Apps Review Details: Aquator is FREE and requires Android 2.3+. You can download it from Google Play. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
