Endless running games seem to be a bit more popular nowadays, and it’s difficult for players to find a game that’s different from the rest of them. One thing I’ve noticed is that many of these games are soft and fluffy, meaning they’re great for younger kids and casual players.

Stick Run Mobile, developed by Nekki GmbH, is a glorious combination of obstacles and gore. Fans of endless running games definitely won’t want to pass this one up!

Concept and Gameplay:

It wasn’t until I played Stick Run Mobile for the first time that I realized what these games were really missing; buzz saws and killer crates! Okay, maybe I’m getting a little carried away here. Something must be loved about the game, though, because the original Facebook version has over 6 million monthly users.

It’s not hard to see why, because Stick Run Mobile is an incredibly addicting game that will have you pushing to do better with each new run. As far as gameplay, you don’t have to worry about complicated controls or moves.

Simply tap the right side of your device’s screen to jump and tap the left side to slide. This seems easy, but things move very fast and you’ll find yourself doing both moves almost at the same time.

Stick Run Mobile is light on graphics, but that definitely doesn’t mean that it’s a shabby game in the least bit. In fact, this is one game where a lack of distractions and visual matter really helps the player to focus on obstacles they need to dodge. From low crates to menacing saws that can’t wait to eat you up, there definitely isn’t a shortage of things to jump over and slide under.

While it might seem like I’m knocking Stick Run Mobile a bit for being a fairly simple game, it’s not the intention. The game definitely has a few additional features which make it even more fun to play.

For example, you can earn in-game currency to spend on cool upgrades like appearance items and background landscapes. This way you can make both the game and the awesome little stick runner your own.

Also, another unsung feature of Stick Run Mobile is multiplayer capabilities. Once you get used to the game and you’re ready for a challenge, you’re able to go head-to-head with other players around the world.

In my opinion, there’s no better way to earn bragging rights, especially with a game like this one! Lastly, you can earn quite a few achievements which will reward you with coins and experience points.

Stick Run Mobile is available to download from Google Play for $1.99, which might seem high for your average casual game. However, the developers are working on releasing a free version of Stick Run Mobile sometime in the near future, so if you have doubts as to whether or not you’ll like the game it’s best to wait.
