Monster Bubbles Curse (Pang)
Android Game Review by AndroidAppsReview.com
Concept and Gameplay
Monster Bubbles Curse can somewhat be considered a first-person shooter game, except the weapon you use is a magic scepter. The object of the game is to aim the scepter correctly so that the magic projectiles hit bouncing bubbles on the screen and pop them. This might sound like a fairly easy thing to do, but I promise you that it’s not. Bubbles appear on the screen a significant distance away, meaning players have to think ahead and aim for where the bubbles are going to bounce.
Players can choose from four different scepter spells: fireball, magic arrow, frozen wind, and thunder. There are levels were certain bubbles can only be popped with certain spells, so players need to be mindful of each available spell.
Players also need to keep an eye on their health bar and power bar. Seeing as bubbles slowly creep down the field towards you, you need to make sure you pop them before they get too close.
If a bubble hits you, you lose hit points in the game will end once your hit points reach zero. If you get into trouble, you can always use one of the available instant spells to get yourself out of a jam.
These spells range from a bomb that destroys all of the bubbles on the screen to slowing down time and even stopping it.
As far as graphics, Monster Bubbles Curse is very easy on the eyes and gameplay is smooth even when the screen is full of bouncing bubbles.
I have to admit that I fell in love with the level background music, mainly because the loud beating of the drum adds to the adrenaline rush of the game. I do want to mention that I had trouble with the game in the beginning as far as being able to aim the scepter accurately.
It does take a little while to get used to aiming, but hopefully not so long that players get discouraged.
Features
Monster Bubbles Curse features 99 levels to complete, and each level is harder than the previous one. Plus, new types of bubbles appear in higher levels in players need to adjust their strategy in order to defeat them. I noticed a significant increase in difficulty even by level 5, so I can’t begin to imagine how difficult level 99 could be.
As you complete levels, you’ll earn credits that can be spent on purchasing more instant spells and scepter upgrades in the Monster Bubbles Curse shop. Rest assured that you’ll definitely need to stock up on spells and purchase weapon upgrades!
Value
Monster Bubbles Curse can be downloaded from the Google Play store for free, and players have the option of purchasing credit packs with real money. Overall, Monster Bubbles Curse is definitely a unique and addicting game, and one that I highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for a fun and challenging game.
