Do you love Vine? We certainly do. We’ve been using Twitter since the day it launched, and when they helped get everyone’s favorite, green-studded laugh machine off and running, we couldn’t be happier.
Now, we’ve got our favorite Viners, as well as our favorite feeds. However, it can still be a challenge sometimes to find nothing but quality content. With that in mind, may we (not so humbly) recommend Vine Videos, from Shutapp.
The app gives you daily, curated content deliver the absolute best from all that Vine has to offer. It’s a laugh a minute, and with a free price tag attached, there’s really no downside. For our full review, you need only to slide on down below the break!
Concept and Functionality
If you’re a regular user of the Vine service, then you’re already on top of how Vine Videos works. The app behaves almost identically to the app it’s built around, giving you a stream of vines to play or stop with a tap.

To answer your question right off, no there’s no uploading here. This is just a vine viewer, and does not allow you to add your own videos to the mix. Unless you happen to be at the top of the Vine stack, and then Vine Videos will select you anyway!
Aside from that, there’s really not much else to describe behind this app’s functionality. It selects videos from all of the premier content sources, ensuring that every video you watch is absolutely hilarious.
Trust us, you’ll really come to appreciate this, especially if your personal feeds can be hit or miss some days. In addition, you can share videos to your other favorite social media networks with only a few taps of a button. It’s solid, it works, and it’s utterly hilarious.
Design and Interface
Sadly, we have to dock the app a few points here. Not because it doesn’t behave well—it does, and the controls are the same as what we’re used to. But rather because the design is just not as good as the original source material. This is problematic, considering Vine Videos is an app built around an existent ecosystem. You cannot go down in quality where interface design is concerned without it seeming a bit cheap. But though that’s true of the aesthetics here, we want to emphasize: Vine Videos works and behaves flawlessly.
Overall Value
Did we also mention that Vine Videos is completely free? Yes, that means you can begin to enjoy all of the wonderful content that it has to offer immediately, and without any strings attached price-wise.
That’s a lovely deal, and if you’re as into Vine as we are, you’ve really got nothing to lose. Give it a go, and we promise you won’t regret it!
