Dominosa, from AK Games, is a new puzzle game for Android. Based around the board game of Dominos, but with a neat puzzle solving difference, Dominosa offers multiple brain-teaser challenges on Android devices.
Features
In short, this game is an electronic version of Dominosa, an old twist on Dominos invented in 1874. Here, you are presented with a preset puzzle board. You must take your given domino pieces and arrange them to fit perfectly within the preset puzzle board, using up all the space in the square and all of your given dominos.
It may sound fairly easy at first, but it quickly picks up speed. You’ll get the option to choose from 4 different difficulty levels, with 10 puzzles on each, for a total of 40 puzzles. In addition, if you find yourself stuck, you can tap the “Hint” button for quit help.
Bare in mind that you are only allotted a few puzzle hints before you’ll need to purchase them. That, plus occasional ads, was the only really $$$ purchase portions I saw in the game. It’s nice to have a freemium game that doesn’t seem to force the user into buying more beyond the free portion.

Appearance and Layout
Dominosa looks quite sharp on my Android tablet. I was very pleased with the attractive graphics and the remarkably easy to use layout. I was able to pick up the game and jump into it without any complications right after downloading it.
The developers have made this translation of an old board game onto Android devices smooth and pleasant.
Value
Dominosa is a very awesome puzzle game for Android. I was quite impressed with the array of challenges that this twist on Dominos presents.
The varying levels of difficulties, combined with sharp, attractive graphics, quality sound track, and a freemium price (without forcing the user to buy, as some freemium apps do) helps make Dominosa a solid app!
Definitely a true 5/5 app and one I would recommend to any puzzle fans, both on smartphones or tablets.
